Frequently asked questions

What are Halo extensions and how do they work?

Halo extensions use a clear, invisible wire that rests on your head like a halo. You slip it on, pull your hair over the wire, blend, and you’re ready in under a minute — no clips, glue, or salon time.

What are Ponytail extensions and how do they work?

Ponytail extensions are a wrap-around piece that attaches over your own ponytail or bun. Secure it with the built-in comb, wrap the side piece around, and secure — in less than a minute, you have a longer, fuller ponytail that looks completely natural.

How long do Halo and Ponytail extensions last?

With proper care, our extensions can last 6 months to a year of regular wear. Longevity depends on how often you wear them and how you care for them. If you use heavy heat styling daily, the lifespan will be shorter — just like with your own hair. Treat them gently, brush softly, and store carefully, and they’ll stay beautiful for much longer.

How do I know my shade will match?

Send us a daylight selfie (front + side), and we’ll match you for free with our Shade Match Service.

Can I dye or tone the extensions?

Yes — you can tone or go slightly darker if you’d like to adjust the shade. We don’t recommend bleaching, as it can damage the hair. Always test on a small strand first, or let a professional stylist handle the process to keep your extensions at their best.

How often should I wash my extensions?

Not often — about every 1.5–3 months for Halos, or after 20–30 wears for Ponytails. Wash only when needed to keep them looking fresh longer. If you’ve had an active day and your Halo feels less fresh, you can give it a quick rinse with water and let it air-dry overnight.

How do I take care of my extensions?

Brush gently before and after each wear, starting from the ends. Wash every 1.5–3 months, or give a light water rinse after an active day. Avoid leave-in oils or serums — stick to products that can be fully rinsed out. Always use heat protectant (175–190 °C), and store in the pouch or on a hanger, removing before sleep, sauna or swimming.
